Reserve Memorials was founded by a Hudson public servant and father of ten. He spent his career showing up for neighbors on their hardest days, and he is building this company as his family's next chapter of that same service.

We are a family company at 30 Ravenna Street in Hudson, Ohio. That address is where our mail goes, not a showroom: there is no office to visit, because Mark comes to your home instead. Our founder spent decades answering calls on his neighbors' hardest days. He learned two things in that work: people remember exactly how you treated them in a crisis, and the smallest kindnesses matter most when everything else is heavy.
That is the company we are building. Not a monument factory with a sales counter, but a family that believes a memorial is the last gift you give someone you love, and that choosing it should feel calm and unhurried.
With ten kids in the family, we also know something about patience, listening, and getting the details right the first time.

The sitting room comes to you
Mark loads the samples into the truck: granite colors, finishes, and carving styles you can put your hands on, spread out on your own table. The other half of the old showroom was a sitting room: rocking chairs, a coffee table, and a fresh pot of coffee. That travels too.
No desks between us. No clocks on the wall. You sit, we listen, and we move at whatever pace your family needs. Some meetings take twenty minutes. Some take two hours. Both are welcome, and nobody leaves with homework they did not ask for.
Meetings are by appointment so you always have our full attention. Set a time for Mark to come by, meet online instead, or start from home with our online monument designer.

What we do on every job
Four habits we never skip, on every memorial we make.
Monument-grade stone
We source dense, monument-grade granite and reject stock with visible flaws or weak grain. We reject flawed stock instead of passing it on to a family.
Proof before carving
Nothing is cut until you approve a scaled drawing showing every letter, date, and design element. We would rather redraw five times than carve once wrong.
We handle the approvals
Every cemetery has its own monument regulations. We prepare the paperwork, submit it, and follow up with the cemetery office until it is approved.
We show up after installation
We photograph the finished setting, walk you through simple care, and come back if anything ever settles or needs attention. Our work is not done at delivery.

There is no office to visit. Mark comes to your home, or meets you online, with the granite samples and the design book. Bring your questions, your photos, or nothing at all.
